Chilean Seabass
Chilean Seabass, also known as Patagonian Toothfish, is an exclusive fish with exceptionally flavorful meat. This specific Seabass can best be described as a mix of Seabass and Cod. This fish is found in the deep, cold waters of the Southern Pacific, Indian, and Atlantic Oceans. The roe period of the Seabass is mainly in the months of July to September.
At Amacore, Chilean Seabass is available year-round due to optimal storage conditions. This fish is prized for its high fat content and coarse, bright white fillet structure. Frozen Chilean Seabass is preferred over fresh because when fresh, the fish is highly susceptible to loss due to the high fat content. This fish offers many culinary options, such as grilling, baking, roasting, and cooking, making it a favorite choice for every restaurant.
