Super Frozen Tuna Saku tartare with Wasabi mayonnaise
I N G R E D I E N T S | 4 Persons
- 4 Super Frozen Tuna Saku
- 4 Shallots
- Black pepper
- 2 Lemons
- 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Wasabi paste
- Salt
- Coriander, for garnish
- Parsely, for garnish
- Pomegranate seeds
- 1 Spring onion
- Soy sauce
D I R E C T I O N S
- Cut the Tuna Saku into small pieces and chop the shallots. Combine the Tuna together with the chopped shallot, a pinch of black pepper and juice of half a lemon.
- Mix the mayonnaise with wasabi and a pinch of salt. Taste if the wasabi mayonnaise is full of flavour. Add more wasabi if necessary.
- Place a cooking ring on a plate. Scoop the tuna in the ring and press firmly. Carefully remove the ring of the plate, if all goes well the tartare will stand.
- Garnish with coriander leaf or parsley, pomegranate seeds and some spring onion.
- Serve the tuna tartare with wasabi mayonnaise and soy sauce if desired. Tartare of tuna with wasabi mayonnaise is also delicious with shrimps.
